New Ministry - About New Ministry

New Ministry is a community of young adults who have found the amazing life that comes from knowing Jesus Christ. We're convinced that the best life possible is the life that Jesus brings; a life full of hope, peace, purpose, and joy.

God’s purpose for New Ministry is to cooperate with Him in reaching the young adults with the gospel of Jesus Christ. We desire to cultivate in people devotion and intimacy to the person of Jesus and genuine compassion to aggressively reach the lost for Him.

God has called us to restore the relationship between God and Korean American young adults in the Greater New York/New Jersey area. The invitation is to come together with others that want real life answers, a place to hang out, and a sense of community that is authentic.

New Ministry is a ministry of Korean Community Church of New Jersey, Englewood, New Jersey.

New Ministry’s Mission

1. To restore the relationship between God and Korean American young adults
2. To restore the relationship between the generations
3. To experience and express the life changing love of Jesus

Core Values

Authentic: We want to be real, and we don’t mind sharing our weaknesses or strengths. We talk about real life issues. We rejoice with those who rejoice, we weep with those who mourn, and we pray together with those who suffer.

  • Bible-based: We seek God’s wisdom and find freedom in knowing the Truth. We accept the Bible as the source of God’s truth and believe in Jesus as the Truth in whom God revealed Himself.

  • Communal: Relationships are vital in human lives. We pursue an intimate and personal relationship with God. At the same time we value human relationships. We strive to develop an authentic and caring community and our main strategy is the cells.

  • Disciple-making: We take Great Commission seriously. We are in the business of making disciples of Jesus Christ. Our faith in Jesus will be lived out in real life as the followers of Jesus Christ. We learn to become more like Jesus in all we are and in all we do. We minister to one another and reach out to others in mission.

  • Experiential: We engage our hearts, minds, spirits, and bodies to worship God. We bring our talents and passions to express our true worship to God. Therefore the participation of all present are encouraged.

  • Fully Spirit-led: We pray and seek God in all we do to allow the Holy Spirit to have the full reign of us and our ministries. As we sense the leading of the Holy Spirit only thing we can offer is obedience and relinquishment to His leadership.
